The ‘Everything Christmas’ Weekend
Friday 9th and Saturday 10th November 2007
Arrive at the hotel on Friday afternoon. In the evening there will be a drinks reception giving you the opportunity to meet Mark Mitson the hotel’s head pastry chef and gain an insight into what the weekend has to offer, followed by dinner. Saturday morning begins after breakfast with demonstrations of some fabulous ideas on how a simple festive buffet can be ‘dressed’ and made to look spectacular – from dressing a salmon to beautiful miniature desserts for perfect Christmas entertaining. The demo will be by the hotel’s own kitchen brigade. Lunch is followed by a wine master class, hosted by the hotel’s own wine merchants, Lay and Wheeler, tasting wines perfect for any occasion. Guests are then free to relax and enjoy the hotels facilities until dinner. On Sunday morning there will be a demonstration from ‘Floribunda the workshop’, the hotel’s florist, showing imaginative and creative tips on how to finish the seasonal table for all occasions from buffets to dinner parties.
Break prices start from £110.00 per person per night, based on two people sharing, minimum two night stay. Places are limited.
