The National Trust runs a varied programme of activities throughout the year

 

Sheringham Park has nearly 1000 acres to explore. Choose a short stroll or a long walk, both of which will let you enjoy the variety of habitats the Park has to offer.  Sheringham Park has a nationally important collection of rhododendrons providing a showcase of colour throughout much of the year, with May and June seeing the display coming to its peak.

Priory Maze and Gardens - Sheringham

 

Priory Maze and Gardens - set within 10 acres, consists of various themed gardens and the hedge maze, based on the ruins of the adjacent Beeston Priory. The gardens and diverse plant habitat creates a perfect location for a wide range of mammals, birds, and insects.

Holt festival brings you the best in music, theatre, fine art and the spoken word in a glorious celebration of the arts.

Stand Up Paddleboarding with Norfolk etc.

 

Stand-up Paddleboards can be hired by the day or half day for use at Morston and Blakeney or can be taken away and used in other areas along the coast.

Our RED Standup Paddle Boards are inflatable and can be deflated for transportation.

 

Free Sail
Free sail days allow your child to get out on the water with safety boat cover to practice their sailing and develop skills and knowledge previously taught on a course. Our instructors will be ensuring they are safe in the harbour at all times whilst they have a great time afloat.

 

26th July to 4th August 2019
A week of family fun and events including a Carnival Day procession around the town featuring floats, fancy-dress, pull-and push-along vehicles and much more. Traditional seaside activities include a sand-castle competition, town crier competition, gillying on the quay and the crowning of the Carnival Royals.

 

North Norfolk Railway

Visit one of North Norfolk Railway’s Special Events for a day that’s sure to provide great memories.
From the smart Victorian seaside resort of Sheringham to the Georgian town of Holt, the North Norfolk Railway runs through the county’s most stunning coastal scenery.
Operated almost entirely by Volunteers from all walks of life, the line is East Anglia’s premier heritage railway. Steam trains operate daily from April to October

Hunstanton SEA LIFE Sanctuary
Dive in and be wowed by the many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures
of the deep. Combining a spectacular indoor aquarium with a seal hospital
and rescue centre, penguins and otters.
The Sanctuary provides a real treat for everyone.
Open to visitors every day of the year except Christmas Day.

 

Grey Seals on Blakeney Point
Common seals have their young between June and September and you can take a boat trip from Morston Quay to Blakeney Point to see the seals in their own habitat.
